Lucille A. DeCicco, 88, of Kingston, died Thursday, July 10, 2014 at home surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Highland, she was a daughter of the late Pasquale & Lillian Lombardi Pisano.
Lucille is survived by her two children, Louis F. DeCicco, Jr. and his partner, Joan Gray, of Hurley and Celeste A. DeCicco-Holz and her husband, Edmond, of Kingston. Two grandchildren, Peter J. (PJ) DeCicco of Kingston and William P. Kitsos III of Kingston also survive. Lucille was known by many titles. Her most favorite was Nan, followed by mom, loving sister, aunt, cousin and friend. Her family was her priority and her heart. She was loved, respected and cherished by all who knew her and those she met along the way. She retired from Metropolitan Life Insurance in 1988. Her hobbies included spending time with her family, volunteering at the Benedictine Hospital Gift Shop, traveling, crossword puzzles and watching Andy Griffith.
In addition to her parents, Lucille was predeceased by her husband, Louis F. DeCicco, Sr who passed in 1993, her daughter -in -law, Perri DeCicco who passed in 2002 and her brother, Matthew Pisano who passed in 2000. The family will receive friends at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Sunday, July 13, 2014 from 2:00 4:30 PM. A memorial service will follow at the funeral home at 4:30 PM. Inurnment in St. Mary's Cemetery will be held privately.
