Lucian Angelo Haid

Lucian Angelo "Luke" Haid of Pennsylvania Ave., Palenville died June 17, 2009 at his home. He was 28. He was born in New York City on September 23, 1980, a son of Peter Haid and Laura Corrado. Peter Haid and his wife Joanne live in Metuchen, NJ and Laura Corrado and her husband Chris Fitzpatrick live in West Hurley. Luke graduated from Archbishop Molloy High School, Class of '98. A weight lifter, Luke enjoyed cooking and worked in numerous restaurants. He was an incredibly nice guy. Everyone loved Luke. He married Taryn Demchuk on September 8, 2007. Surviving in addition to his wife and parents are one brother Chrissy Fitzpatrick of West Hurley, his paternal grandparents William and Kathleen Haid of Fresh Meadows. Luke was King of Cousins Rita Marie and Michael Angelo Lenane, Margo, Willis, and Terrence Orlando, Mary, Eileen, Jaclyn, Phillip, Maryjewel, Kelsey and Douglas Corrado, Richard Giordano, Cara Messina, Ryan, Allie and Casey Haid and Matt Nelson. Many cousins, aunts and uncles also survive. Reposing at the Simpson Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave., Kingston on Monday 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Church, Fresh Meadows, Queens on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Mt.
