Louise Gigi Provenzano

Louise Marie 'Gigi' Provenzano of Chambers Drive, Town of Ulster died Monday, January 23, 2006 at Kingston Hospital. A native and lifelong Kingston resident she was the daughter of the late Frank and Rose Perry Spadafora. A hairdresser, Gigi owned and operated her own business for many years. She was a former cashier at the Dietz Stadium Diner, Kingston and waitress at the former Uncle Chic's, Kingston. She most recently worked at Bank of America. A parishioner of St. Joseph's Church, she volunteered at the Miss Ulster County Beauty Pageant. Her former husband Michael Provenzano, her son Michael D. Provenzano, two brothers Joseph and Patrick Spadafora and one sister Carmel Spadafora all died previously. Surviving are two sisters Mary DeCicco of Kingston and Evelyn Fabiano of Lake Katrine; three grandchildren Stacy, Michael and Emily; great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Reposing at Simpson - Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral will be Thursday at 9:15 AM from the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Church by Fr. Frank Damis at 10:00 AM. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
