Louis Roberti

Louis Roberti, Sr., 76, of Port Ewen, NY, passed Sunday morning, March 1st, surrounded by his loving family and friends at the Health Alliance Hospital, Broadway Campus. He was born September 16, 1938 in Kingston, the son of the late Louis and Rose Roberti.


For many years Lou owned and operated Lou's Boat Basin, he had also owned his own trucking and construction company and had worked for NYTRA Light Corporation


Lou is survived by his children Cathy N. Roberti - Hicks and her husband Jess of Ulster Park, Louis Roberti, Jr. of Kingston, grandchildren Jesse and Marina Hicks, Daniel, Gabrielle, Gavin and Mia Roberti, a brother Nick Roberti, Sr. and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, John Roberti.


Entrusted to the care of the Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, the family will receive their friends on Wednesday from 1- 4 pm and 6 - 9 pm. The service will be Thursday at 11 am. Burial in Montrepose Cemetery. A Celebration on Lou's Life will be at Mariners Harbor immediately following the burial.
