Lori Gail Rubinstein

Lori Gail Rubinstein, 48, of Kauneonga Lake, formerly of Ellenville, died Friday, September 21, 2012 in Englewood, NJ. Born in Fort Benning, GA, she was the daughter of Dr. Sanford M. & Gladys Schloss Rubinstein. She graduated from Oberlin College in 1987 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Latino Studies and then graduated from Boston University with a Masters degree in Education, ESL. Lori was a member of the Sullivan County Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club. In 2009 Lori was the recipient of the Catskill Mountain Business & Professional Woman of the Year. She will be remembered as a thoughtful and loving daughter, sister and friend to all who knew her. In addition to her parents, Lori is survived by her two brothers, Marc Rubinstein of Henderson, NV, Jon Rubinstein of Trumbull, CT and her significant other, Scott Milchman of Englewood, NJ. Four nephews and one niece also survive. A graveside service will take place in Montrepose Cemetery, Kingston, Sunday, September 23, 2012, at 10:00 AM, with Rabbi Yitzchok Hecht officiating.
