Loretta Ann Scheid

Loretta Ann Marcella (Burns) Scheid, 78, of Kingston, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at Benedictine Hospital in Kingston. She was born June 3, 1934 to the late Leo and Eva (Albright) Burns. She was married to Charles F. Scheid; they wed on July 8th 1956 at St. Mary's Church in Kingston. Loretta was a lifelong parishioner of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Kingston and attended St. Mary's School. She was a devoted wife and mother.

In addition to her husband she is survived by her daughters: Elaine E. Heppner and her husband Daniel G. Heppner Esq. of West Shokan, Joyce Janasiewicz and her husband Joseph of Hurley, Suzanne A. Scheid of Kingston, and her grandchildren, Joseph C. Janasiewicz, John A. Janasiewicz and Nicole E. Janasiewicz. She is predeceased by her children, Charles Leo Scheid and Jennifer Scheid, as well as her brothers Donald and Gerald Burns.

Entrusted to the care of Luke Keyser of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Ave., Kingston, where friends may call on Monday from 4 to 7pm. The procession will form on Tuesday at 9am at the funeral home and proceed to St. Mary's RC Church, Kingston where at 10am a mass of Christian burial will be celebrated. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Kingston.
