Lisa Ann DeGondea

April 1, 1955 — October 6, 2024

Kingston

Lisa Ann DeGondea was born in Kingston on April 1, 1955 to the late Carole Kovacs and John Radel. Surviving are her daughter, Rebecca DeGondea, granddaughter Lilyana DeGondea and life partner Rex Myers, as well as siblings Rick Radel (Ellie Kramer), Cynthia Bell (Donald), Theresa Swartz and Richard A Radel (Lisa). Many nieces and nephews also survive. She was predeceased by her son Jon DeGondea and brother George Radel.

Lisa’s defining qualities were judgement free kindness and a true generosity of spirit. She loved to share a laugh or listen to a story and had a ready smile for anyone she came across. Lisa loved flowers, sparkly fashion and carnival glass and adored her family and many special friends. She found peace in spiritual retreats and especially enjoyed her famous trips to Maine with Rex. Lisa always wanted to look her best and took great pains to do so, helping others feel their best throughout her professional life, especially at Macy’s, where she retired as a counter manager in cosmetics.

Please share a selfless act of kindness in memory of the very special person she was.
