Linda Sue Harkins

Linda Sue Harkins, 48, of Kingston, NY, died Saturday, September 26, 2009 at Benedictine Hospital after a long battle with cancer. She was born March 1, 1961 in Niagara Falls, NY to Eunice (Storring) Poorman of Kingston and the late Robert Poorman. She was the wife of Robert J. Harkins.




Linda had worked for Warner Brothers at the Harry Potter message board. Prior to that she had worked at Ulster Federal Credit Union in Kingston and at Klub Kids in Kingston. She loved to travel, read and spend time with her family, in particular her grandchildren.




In addition to her husband and her mother she is survived by her children Alicia McIntosh - Tatum, Milan , Joseph Harkins, Kingston, Robert E Harkins, Kingston, grandchildren Isaac, Jakob and Amelia, sisters Laura Benjamin, Glenford, Leslie Bruhn, Kingston, Lisa Bodie, Kingston, many nieces and nephews. Mother of the late Aileen D. Harkins.




Entrusted to the care of the Keyser Funeral Service, Inc., 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston. The family will receive theirs friends on Wednesday from 2 - 4 pm. A service will be held on Wednesday at 4 pm.
