Linda Pitzer Riva

Port Ewen - Linda Pitzer Riva passed peacefully in her sleep Thursday, June 8 2017. Linda (July 25, 1953 - June 8, 2017) had an exciting and eventful life that eventually brought her to the Kingston, NY area, where she called home. Linda was born in Bethesda, MD and throughout her life lived in the Washington area, Pennsylvania, Japan, Kansas, Alabama, Martinique and Florida. Linda was an accomplished equestrian and water skier, winning numerous awards. Animals were her passion and as the "Pet Au Pair" she delighted in caring for and grooming her four-legged friends. Linda leaves behind her beloved cat, Jolie. Linda also leaves behind her brothers, Richard Riva and his wife Sharri who live in Scottsdale, AZ and Kyle and his wife Becky and son Alex who live in Winter Park, FL. Entrusted to the care of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Ave., Kingston, Cremation was private. In lieu of flowers, Linda would prefer you make a donation to your local animal shelter.
