Linda (Hasbrouck) Demand, 76, of Kingston, NY died peacefully on Sunday October 22, 2023 in her bed. She was a long time Ulster County employee of the Infirmary at Golden Hill. Linda was known for her amazing cooking and sarcastic sense of humor.

Linda was a mother to John Hasbrouck and Michael Hasbrouck, grandmother of 4 and great grandmother to one. She always made sure her kids were taken care of. Linda was the person that would give you the shirt off her back. Many times, she would surprise her coworkers with delicious dishes and desserts. She had a sarcastic sense of humor, but if you knew Linda, you were not offended.

Linda was predeceased by her husband Olaf (Skip) Demand.

Linda is survived by her sons, John Hasbrouck and Michael Hasbrouck, grandchildren; Ashley Hasbrouck, Austin Hasbrouck, Avery Hasbrouck, Kaylee Hasbrouck and great grandchild, Scarlett Rose Spencer. Daughter-in-law, Necole McRae-Hasbrouck and stepdaughters Diane Demand and Carol Lasagni.

Linda will forever be missed and remembered in the hearts of those who loved her. Heaven has gained an amazing angel.

A graveside service will take place at Wiltwyck Cemetery, 205 West O'Reilly Street, Kingston, NY on Friday, November 3, 2023 at 1:00pm.
