Lillian C. Dickson

Lillian C. (Clinton) Dickson, 86, of Woods Street, Kingston, NY, died Sunday, May 16, 2010 at Kingston Hospital, Kingston, NY. She was born May 9, 1924 in York, SC to the late William and Fanny (Goodwin) Clinton.

She was married to Hazel Dickson. They were wed on November 9th 1942 in York, SC. Hazel died on August 5th 1977.

Lillian was a member of St. Mark's AME Zion Church in Kingston. She served on the Missionary Board, as a Trustee, and a Usher. She was a member of Star of Hope, Grand Chapter of Order of the Eastern Star.

Lillian is survived by her lifelong friend; Clarence Redd, Kingston, NY, son; Glenn D. Dickson, Kingston, NY, brother; Paul Clinton, Florida, a host of cousins, nieces, & nephews.

Predeceased by her son; Larry Clinton, daughter; Mary Louise Dickson, brothers; Isom Clinton and William "Bubba" Clinton Jr., sisters; Rebecca (Clinton) Lowery, Louise (Clinton) Kithcart, Carrie (Clinton) Kennedy.

Entrusted to the care of the Keyser Funeral Service, Inc., 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston.

Services will be held at St. Marks AME Church, 72 Wurts Street, Kingston, at 11:00 AM Monday May 24th 2010. Friends may pay their respects from 10 to 11 AM at the church prior to the service.

Burial will follow in Montrepose Cemetery, Kingston.
