Lewis M. McNally of Broad St., West Hurley died Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at Kingston Hospital. He was 95.
He was born April 25, 1913 in East Kingston, a son of the late Matthew and Mary Messinger McNally.
He served in the Air Force with the rank of Technical Sergeant. Mr. McNally was a retired electrician for Heckeroth Plumbing and Heating in Woodstock. He was a former fire chief of the West Hurley Fire Department.
Surviving is his wife, Frances Hutter McNally, two sons, Lewis McNally and his wife Janet of Olivebridge and Robert McNally and his wife Jo-Anne of Stone Ridge. Eight grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Two brothers, Thomas and Robert McNally died previously.
Friends will be received at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave., Kingston on Sunday from 5 - 7 PM. A funeral service will be conducted at 6:30 Pm at the funeral home by Deacon Jack Peters.
Cremation will take place at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery.
