Lester H. Litts, Sr., 68, of Saugerties, NY, died Saturday, October 3, 2009 at Benedictine Hospital, Kingston, NY. He was born July 18, 1941 in Ulster Park, NY to the late Harry and Amelia Tierney Litts, Sr..

He was married to Mary Ordway Litts, they wed on July 1990 at Kingston, NY, she survives at home.

Lester attended Kingston High School, he also was a Security Officer for Command Security, Poughkeepsie, NY. He was certified as a security guard under NYS laws & regulations, retired in Jan. 2005.

He was a past member of St. Remy Fire Department, the Ulster Park Grange #969, a member of the Ulster County REACT for many years. He liked to hunt, fish, camp, was an outdoorsman.

Entrusted to the care of the Keyser Funeral Service, Inc., 216 Broadway, Port Ewen, where services will be held on Tuesday at 5:00 pm Keyser Funeral Service, Inc., officiated by Rev. Dr. David Brechter.
