Leroy Bowie

Leroy Bowie, 77, of Kingston, died at Palmer Annex IRA on April 19, 2014. He was born in Mt. Vernon, New York, a son of the late Rabon and Josephine Lane Bowie . Leroy was known for his sense of humor and he was also a New York Yankees' fan. He is survived by two nieces; Margo Parker and her children, Dana, Tremayne and Justin, Tracy Berrow and her children, Maria, Nina, and Tyler, three nephews; Scott Berrow, David Berrow and his children, Tiffany, Superman, Joesph, and Kymbur, Michael Berrow and his son, Michael Jr, and nieces and nephews, Sharon, James, Ricky, Shelley, Robin, Valarie, Daryl and Stefani, and all of his Ulster-Greene ARC family. An aunt, Ellen Gopaul also survives. His sisters, Barbara Holmes, Margaret Berrow, and Imogene Cornick, a grandniece, Nicole and a niece, Rhea predeceased him. Reposing at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Avenue on Thursday, April 24, 2014 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A Funeral Service will take place at 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be private at Mount Hope Cemetery.
