Lawrence (Larry) "Flash" Giustino, 78, a longtime resident of Kingston, died June 23, 2013 at Golden Hill Nursing Home.
Born in Brooklyn, he was a son of the late George & Ann Verdi Giustino. Larry had a larger than life personality and a wonderful sense of humor. With music being his passion, Larry was planning on attending the Juilliard School of music when he became ill and lost his eyesight at the age of 17. For over 25 years, Larry operated a concession at Kingston City Hall. He was a past president of SEEC, a volunteer for the Resource Center for Accessible Living and a member of the Christian Missionary Alliance.
Larry is survived by two sisters, Diane Higginbotham of Alvarado, TX and Joyce Leiserson and her husband Jay of Austin, TX. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at St. Mary's Cemetery at 11:00 AM.
