d. August 27, 2022

Kyle F. Sheffer, 59, of Port Ewen, died Saturday, August 27, 2022, at Mt. Sinai Medical Center,
NY, NY. surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Kingston, he was a son of the late LeRoy & Joyce Domanico Sheffer.

Kyle was a devoted father to his two daughters Taylor and Leah. He was also a beloved
brother, supportive uncle, loving grandfather, and a faithful friend to many. Kyle enjoyed
cooking, especially traditional Italian favorites, music, days at the beach, and watching his
favorite teams the New York Giants and New York Yankees. Most of all Kyle enjoyed
spending time with his family. On holidays he added his special touches like Calabrian
pastries at Christmas, “the Sheffer” cabbage salad, and stuffing at Thanksgiving. Kyle was
a fantastic person who had a unique sense of humor and an infectious smile and laugh that
made every family gathering memorable and fun.

We’re so very grateful for the time we were all able to spend with him. Kyle will have an
ever lasting imprint on our lives. His daughter’s devotion to their father during his illness
