Kristen Beth Carlisle Morgan

Kristen Beth Carlisle Morgan, 56, of Newburgh, NY, passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2025 following a lengthy illness, at Sapphire Nursing Home - Meadow Hill in Newburgh, NY. She was born on April 10, 1968 in Kingston, NY and was the daughter of JT Carlisle and Nancy Giles Carlisle Kavaky. 

Kristen was a native of Saugerties, NY and graduated from Saugerties Senior High School in 1986. As a teenager she loved riding and caring for horses, spending long hours with the family dogs, walking through nature or participating in school talent shows. Kristen was a remarkably talented individual. Her artistic abilities and creative mind were invariably present throughout her life. Kristen was a blessed singer and shared her vocal talents in church and at Karaoke gatherings. Singing brought her joy. She was a professed dog trainer and an impressive dog whisperer. Kristen often had one of her prized Sheltie’s by her side. Kristens quick-witted sense of humor and radiant smile were a signature to her personality. Kristen believed that her greatest gift to the world was her son and daughter. She was endlessly proud of them and felt blessed to affirm their accomplishments to others.

She is survived by her children Preston Morgan and Alexis Morgan, and her granddaughter, Naomi Morgan, all of High Point, North Carolina, her father, JT Carlisle of Kingston, NY, sisters, Janet Carlisle Wilusz of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, Kathleen (Kat) Carlisle, and Brother-in-Law Billie Joe Mathis of Kingston NY, as well as her forever friend, Jeffrey Morgan, of High Point, North Carolina. Kristen is preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Giles Carlisle Kavaky.
