Kit Ellsworth

Kathi “Kit” Ellsworth, 69, of Kingston, NY, passed away at home in St. Remy, NY, on Saturday, January 14, 2023 after a long battle with cancer. She was born December 26, 1953 in Kingston, NY, daughter of the late Hugh and Joan Greer. Kit was married to her loving husband, Douglas Ellsworth, they wed in 1973.

She was a Kingston High School graduate, Class of 1970. Kit later worked in the medical billing field for many years with Kingston Internal Medicine and HealthAlliance Hospital. She enjoyed floating in her swimming pool and spending time with her grandchildren.

Kit is survived by her husband, Douglas Ellsworth of St. Remy, her sons, Todd Ellsworth and his wife Jessica of Mount Marion, NY, and John Ellsworth and his fiancee Lesette Alvarez of Kingston, her grandchildren, Deanna "Mimi" Ellsworth and Jack Ellsworth, her siblings, Diane Grembocki of Albany, Scott Greer and his wife Erica of Stone Ridge, Jann Haaland and her husband Robert of Port Ewen, her sister in law, Janet Greer of New Hampshire, her brother in law, Steve Ellsworth and his partner Diane Williams of Florida, sister in law, Debra Harding and her husband Wayne of Kingston, as well as many nieces, nephews, and other dear friends and family. In addition to her parents, Kit is predeceased by her brother, Jon Greer, and her brother in law, Frank Grembocki.

Kit would like to thank Dr. Andrade and staff (especially Colleen and Patty), the staff at the Benedictine Infusion Center, her coworkers at Grant Avenue, and a special thanks to her sister in law, Debbie Harding, and her dear friend Barbara Lukaszewski, for their love and support.

Arrangements entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, NY 12401, where family and friend may visit on Thursday January 19, 2023 from 4pm to 7pm. The funeral service will be held at 11am at the funeral home on Friday January 20, 2023. Burial will follow in Wiltwyck Rural Cemetery.
