Katherine Snyder

Katherine Snyder formerly of Colonial Garden Apts., Kingston died Monday, October 9, 2006 at Ten Broeck Commons Nursing Home. She was 84. She was born in Kerhonkson on March 29, 1922, a daughter of the late Charles and Anna Smith Storm. Mrs. Snyder was a Kingston area resident for over thirty years. She previously worked at Courier Citizen Uniform Printing, Kingston for ten years. Surviving are two sons Loren Snyder and his wife Valerie of Charlotte, NC and Bruce Snyder of Paynesville, OH; one daughter Debra Snyder of Kingston; two brothers Edward and Charles Storms and one sister Anna Krom; two granddaughters Debra and Michael Fay, one great granddaughter Tori Whispell, many nieces and nephews. Reposing at the Simpson - Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Thursday from 12:00 PM. A funeral service will then be conducted at the funeral home at 2:00 PM. Rev. Arlene Dawber will officiate. Interment will be in Wiltwyck Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 95 Schwenck Dr., Kingston, NY 12401.
