Katherine M. Yeaton

Katherine M. "Kitty" Yeaton, 99, of Golden Hill, Kingston, passed away peacefully Friday morning surrounded by her family and friends. She was born October 23, 1912 in Gutenberg, NJ the daughter of the late Joseph and Isabella Hastings. She was the wife of the late William P Yeaton.




Katherine was a parishioner of Sacred Heart RC Church. She loved to bowl, ballroom dance, and read, especially historical books. She had a hardy laugh, huge smile and was overly generous. Kitty touched the hearts of all she knew.





She is survived by a son John H. Hansberry, West Park, a daughter Marie C. Burger, West Park, a brother John Hastings and a sister Cecelia Cardarelli, 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son Thomas J. Hansberry




Entrusted to the care of Eric Keyser, Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 216 Broadway, Port Ewen, Friends may call on Monday from 2 -4 & 7 - 9. The procession will form on Tuesday at 9:00 am, at 10 am a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart RC Church. Burial in St. Remy Rural Cemetery.
