Katherine B. Clark

Katherine (Barten) Clark, 91, of Kingston, NY, passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2017. She was born January 10, 1926 in Kingston, to the late Franz and Anna (Stenbuck) Barten. She was married to her husband of 70 years, Robert J. Clark; they wed on April 27, 1947.


Katie had attended Kingston High School and later worked for NY Telephone Co., and the Capri Restaurant. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, she enjoyed doing counted cross stitch, knitting, and also enjoyed cooking.


In addition to her husband she is survived by her children, Kathy Ann Filincieri and her husband Salvatore of Italy, Robert J. Clark, II and his wife Cassandra of FL, Sheila Clark of OK, Russell J. Clark and his companion Patty Milite of Kingston, Andrew B. Clark and his companion Francisco Garcia of Kingston, grandchildren, Dario and Sarah Sartore of Italy, Kyle Clark of Kingston, Justin Clark of Verbank, NY, 8 great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her siblings, Helen Bucholtz, and Henry, Raymond, and Theodore Barten.



Entrusted to the care of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Ave., Kingston, where friends and family may visit on Sunday Feb., 12th from 3pm to 6pm. The funeral service will be held on Monday Feb, 13th at 10am at the funeral home with burial following in Montrepose Cemetery, Kingston.
