Jung Hwa Lee

Jung Hwa Lee of Greenkill Avenue died Tuesday, December 13, 2005 at Benedictine Hospital. She was 55. She was born in Seoul, South Korea on July 5, 1950, a daughter of the late Jin Chan Kim and Hee Yul Chang. Mrs. Lee was educated in Seoul and on August 25, 1974 married Soo Chul Lee. In 1978 she immigrated to this country. She settled in New York City and then moved to Kingston in 1985. Mrs. Lee co-owned and operated Charles Grocery and Deli on Greenkill Ave., Kingston. One brother Kwang Ki Kim died previously. Surviving in addition to her husband of 31 years are two sons William I. Lee and his wife Laura of New York City, Thomas K. Lee and his girlfriend Jennifer Shapiro of New York City; one brother Chul Ki Kim of Seoul and one sister Jung Ran Yi of Brisbane, Australia; many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will gather at the Simpson - Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Friday from 1:00 - 2:00 PM. At 2:00 a funeral service will be conducted by Rev. Joong Kim. Cremation will be private.
