June R. Metsopulos

June R. Metsopulos, 71, a lifelong resident of Kingston, died Saturday, November 28, 2015 at her home. Born in Kingston, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence Dunne & Dora Quick Dunne of Kingston. June enjoyed going to the casino, taking care of her plants, liquid embroidering and playing cards. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. In addition to her mother, June is survived by her husband of 35 years, Eugene Metsopulos whom she married on November 22, 1980, three children, Sandra Marshall of Kingston, Bruce Cogswell, Jr, of Kingston, Richard Cogswell and his wife Joann of Concord, NC, three siblings, Patricia Maki and her husband Richard of East Kingston, Lawrence Dunne, Jr, of Kingston, Kathy Ryan and her husband Donald of Port Ewen, six grandchildren, Trisha, Cory, Justin, Heather, Kyle and Zachary. 14 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her father, June was predeceased by her grandson, Spencer Marshall. June will be reposing at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. Service and interment will be private.
