June K. Dwyer, 66, passed away Sunday, October 18, 2009 after a long and courageous battle with illness. Born January 6, 1943 in Kingston, NY, she was a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend, who would open her door to take in, feed or love anyone, which she did frequently.
An avid animal lover, June would rescue any animal in need that crossed her path. A friend once said, "in my next life, I want to come back as a stray in June's neighborhood." June was the symbol of love to all who knew her and that will be her legacy.
Survived by her loving family and supportive network of friends: husband of 39 years, William J. Dwyer, children William T. and Elizabeth Dwyer and family, Genevieve and Telly Rainsberg and family, brothers and sisters Thomas Koeppen, Patty and Doug Bazley, the Danahy Family, the Whitaker Family, the Dwyer Families, The Woolsey Family and many, many dear friends and neighbors.
June was predeceased by her parents, William and Etta Koeppen.
Special thanks to her friends at Sunnyview Hospital and the Teresian House.
