June Edna Bennett

June E. Bennett, 92, of Lomontville, passed peacefully Wednesday morning, November 5, 2014 at Ten Broeck Commons, Lake Katrine, surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 30, 1922 in Hurley, the daughter of the late Henry Winfred and Hilaria (Carnright) Johnston. She was the wife of the late Robert E Bennett, he died on February 1, 1990.

June is survived by her children, Robert A. Bennett of Lomontville, Madge Whispell and her husband Ronald of Hurley, Ida May Wright and her husband Walter of Lomontville and Mary Farrell of Lomontville. Eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews also survive. She was predeceased by a brother Donald Johnston, a sister Madge Greene, a son in law Timothy Farrell and a granddaughter Ida Jean Wright.

Entrusted to the care of Eric Keyser, Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston. The family will receive their friends on Friday from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm. The service will be Saturday at 12:00 noon, at the funeral home with Rev. Dr. David M. Brechter, officiating. Burial in North Marbletown Cemetery, Marbletown.
