June Dell Munson

June Dell Munson, 83, of Kingston, NY, died Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at Mountain View Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, New Paltz. She was born August 31, 1929 in Dowell, IL to the late Cecil and the late Fairy (Dell) Schroeder.

June's life had so many chapters; piano reconstructing and teacher, executive assistant and care giver, gardener and musician. She painted beautifully too. Definitely a renaissance woman.

She is survived by her sister, Marilyn Burnstine of Poughkeepsie, NY
Her son Jonathan Munson of Kingston, NY who has been her caregiver for the last several years, Her eldest son, Anthony Munson of Florida, Her nieces and nephews, Laurel Shelmandine, Lisa Mandeville and Alan Burnstine.

There will be a memorial service held for June Sunday 2pm at St. James United Methodist Church. June's family and friends ask that everyone dress in vibrant, garden colors to honor June's love of her garden. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. James church for grounds and garden maintenance 29 Pearl Street, Kingston, NY 12401.
