Judith S. Suib, 68, of Woodstock, died Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at Nyack Hospital.
Born in Brooklyn, she was a daughter of the late Moses & Bess Weiss Spiegler.
Judy study at FIT in Manhattan in her younger years and enjoyed her time as an artist there. She was one of the founding members of the Woodstock Jewish Congregation in Woodstock, NY but her biggest accomplishment was raising her family. Judy was an animal lover, a shopping lover and an amazing cook. Judy is survived by her husband of 45 years, Herbert L. Suib of Woodstock, whom she married on September 25, 1969, five children, Blake Suib and his wife Jane of Lake Tahoe, CA, Cammy Suib and her partner Donna of Phoenix, AZ, Paige McManus and her husband Thomas of Malverne, NY, Liz Parisio and her husband John of Saugerties, Jenny Bowers and her husband Ben of Saugerties, her daughter in law Jodi Diamond of Matthews, NC one brother, Steven Spiegler and his wife Barbara of Sunnyside, NY, twelve grandchildren, Ryan, Kelsey, Joshua, Tyler, Jake, Eli, Jamie, Luca, Jack, Charlotte, Charlie and Mia. Two nephews also survive. Judy's family finds some comfort in knowing that she is now with her beloved son, Mark Diamond.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at Montrepose Cemetery, with Rabbi Jonathan Kligler of the Woodstock Jewish Congregation officiating.
