Joyce B. Harrison

Joyce B. Harrison, Jumping Brook Lane, Kingston died Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at Kingston Hospital. She was 79. She was born in Hempstead, NY a daughter of the late Lawrence W. and Isabelle E. Wallin Day. A bookkeeper, Joyce had been employed by the Ulster County Chapter of the Red Cross and Ulster Federal Credit Union. She enjoyed painting, gardening and taking care of her birds.


Surviving is her husband of 58 years, Harold J. Harrison, three daughters, Patricia Harris and her husband Edward of Arlington, MA; Nancy Scott and her husband Floyd of Underhill, VT; Linda Brown and her husband Ronald of Webster, NY; one son, Michael Harrison and his wife Patricia of Tillson, NY and one sister, Anne Day of Kingston. Ten grandchildren, EJ, Elizabeth and Rebecca Harris; Joe and Josh Harrison; Lt. Jason Scott, USCG and his wife Janet; Kristen and Thomas Scott; Daniel and Kathryn Brown also survive. Entrusted to the care of Paul Geary of the Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Ave., Kingston where friends will be received on Friday from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 PM. The funeral procession will form Saturday, 9:00 AM at the funeral home and process to St. Catherine Laboure Church where a funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM .
