Joshua A. Fletcher, 33 of West Hurley, died Monday, October 26, 2015.
Born in Kingston, he was the son of Dr. Robert & Diane Andrews Fletcher of West Hurley. Joshua was a graduate of Onteora High School, class of 2000. He was the banquet chef at Full Moon Resort in Oliverea for the past 7 years. Joshua's passions in life included fishing, the culinary arts, friendship and family. His devotion to his crafts lead him to become both a respected chef and fishing tournament champion. His curious nature and positive attitude lead to many lifelong friendships. Joshua will always be remembered for his huge heart, noble loyalty, and a way to make us laugh that will be cherished by his friends and family forever.
In addition to his parents, Joshua is survived by a brother, Zachary Fletcher and his wife, Cheyenne of South Tahoe, CA. Many aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. Joshua was predeceased by a sister, Joli Tlalka.
A Funeral Service will be conducted on Friday, October 30, 2015 at 10:00 AM at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave, with Cantor Bob Cohen of Congregation Emanuel, officiating.
Interment will follow in Montrepose Cemetery.
