Josephine A. Tornello

Josephine Tornello, 93, of Saugerties, NY, passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Golden Hill Nursing & Rehab Center in Kingston, NY.

She was born on May 11, 1927 in Bronx, NY and was the daughter of the late Salvador and Sarah Luis.

After graduating high school, Josephine pursued her love for art for much of the remainder of her life and was a protester as one of the Women in Black in Woodstock. She also studied at The Art Students League in Woodstock where she lived for over 34 years.

She is survived by her six children, seven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren

Josephine is preceded in death by her Husband Joseph Tornello in 2010.
