Joseph R. Sangaline

Ulster Park - Joseph R. Sangaline of Ulster Ave., Ulster Park died Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at home. He was 66. He was born in Kingston, a son of the late Edward M. and Erma Nardi Sangaline. A Kingston High School graduate, Joe served in the US Army in Vietnam from 1966 - 1968. Joe married Lynne Measley on August 21, 1976 and they moved to Ulster Park the following year. For over 28 years he worked at I.B.M., Poughkeepsie and belonged to the Quarter Century Club. Loving husband of Lynne A. Sangaline, beloved father of David Sangaline and his wife Samantha and Anne Ricketson and her husband Carl, all of Greensburg, PA, Mary Chambers and her husband Ronald Jr. of Latham; brother of Edward Sangaline of Stone Ridge, Charles Sangaline of Fairfax, VA and Erma Moore of Hurley; grandfather of Isabella Sangaline and Sarah Ricketson. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Reposing at Simpson Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Saturday and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral procession will form on Monday from the funeral home at 9:00 am. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Colman's Church at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in Wiltwyck Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
