Joseph Nyulassy

d. January 19, 2019

Joseph “Josh” Nyulassy, 53, of Saugerties, died Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Northern Dutchess Hospital.

Born in Kingston, he was a son of the late William & Loretta Quick Nyulassy.

Joseph enjoyed walking around town, assisting local businesses with odd jobs, visiting with store owners/staff, indulging in a cup of coffee, cigarettes and playing lotto. He was well-known in his neighborhood and loved by many.

As his health declined, the kind and diligent staff from Unlimited Care provided him with the best of care at home, enabling him to live as independently as possible in the community.

Joseph is survived by six siblings, William (Loretta), Victor (Pamela), Robert (Karen), Veronica (Bruce), Nicholas and Cynthia. Several nieces and nephews, and Great Nieces and Nephews also survive.

Joseph will be reposing at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 from 5-8 PM.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday at 10:00 AM at St. Mary’s Cemetery.

The family requests that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society, Memorial Processing, 6725 Lyons St, East Syracuse, NY 13057
