Joseph James Cann

Joseph J. Cann of Hull Road, Gallatin died Friday, March 19, 2010. He was 46. He was born in the Bronx, a son of the late Joan E. Zinkhan Cann. For many years Mr. Cann worked as a self-employed contractor. Surviving are his nine brothers Richard of Mississippi, George of New Jersey, Bruce of Missouri, John of California, Robert and his wife Dara of New York, Clifford of Missouri, Steve of New York, James of California and Jeff Cann of New Jersey, four sisters Dolores Cann of Alabama, Mary Williams of New York, Joan Doyle and her husband Timothy of New York and Irene Hodder and her husband Donald; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Family and friends will gather at the Simpson - Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave., Kingston on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Church, Kingston at 1:00 p.m. Fr. Frank Damis will officiate. Interment will follow in Rosendale Plains Cemetery.
