Joseph A. Ricci

Joseph A. Ricci, 86, of Kingston, died May 19, 2016 at Wingate of Ulster. Born in the Bronx, Joe was a son of the late Angelo & Frances Ricci. He worked as an animal technician for Charles River in Stone Ridge. Joe was a good, kind and gentle man who loved cats and dogs. Joe is survived by his son, Charles J. Ricci of Kingston and his daughter, Frances R. Ricci of Kingston. Joe was predeceased by his wife Bertha Hagan Ricci, who passed in 1993. Joe will be reposing at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany ave. on Sunday from 2-5 PM. A Funeral Service officiated by Father Paul from St. Joseph's Church will follow at the funeral home at 5:00 PM. Interment will be held privately. The family requests that memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 2 Jefferson Plaza, Suite 103, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603-4027.
