Joli Fletcher Tlalka of New Paltz, died unexpectedly on Sunday, December 23, 2012. She was 40.
She was born in Madison, WI and graduated Onteora High School, class of 1990. Joli loved music and dancing.
Joli worked with people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities. She was employed by the Taconic Developmental Disability Service Office (DDSO.) Joli thoroughly enjoyed her work, especially working with her clients, who she valued with great dignity and respect.
Loving wife of Slawek Tlalka (a Merchant Marine), beloved daughter of Dr. Robert and Diane Fletcher of W. Hurley; sister of Zachary Fletcher and his wife Cheyenne of S. Lake Tahoe, CA and Joshua Fletcher of W. Hurley. Aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
A memorial service will be conducted on Monday at 12:00 at Simpson Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave., Kingston. Cantor Robert Cohen will officiate.
