John M. Stone, Jr.

John M. Stone, Jr., 46, of Kingston, NY, passed away after a courageous seven-year battle with cancer on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. He was born on February 25, 1976 in Kingston, NY, son of Mary (Tracy) Stone and the late John M. Stone, Sr. John was married to his loving wife of eighteen years, Elizabeth (Kaiser) Stone.

John was a graduate of Kingston High School. He was an avid fan of many sports, his favorite teams included the Minnesota Vikings, NY Knicks and NY Yankees. He enjoyed hiking, heavy metal / rock music, traveling, and he was an amazing artist. Above all, he loved spending quality time with his wife and daughters.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Stone of Kingston, his daughters, Kailee and Danica Stone, his fur babies, Otis and Nala, his mother, Mary (Tracy) Stone, his sisters, Kerri and Alicia Stone, and his brother Keenan Hughes, all of Kingston. He is also survived by his brother and sister in law, Mark and Jen Kaiser, as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, John is predeceased by his grandmother, Lillian B. Tracy, and his first fur baby with Liz and “the one who started this all”, Brock.

Arrangements entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Ave., Kingston, NY 12401, where family and friends may visit on Sunday April 24, 2022 from 2pm to 5pm with the funeral service taking place at 5pm.
