John Joseph McGuire

John Joseph McGuire, 62, of Kingston, NY, died Monday, September 10, 2012 at home. He was born July 6, 1950 in Albany, NY a son of the late John J. and Anna D. Tallman McGuire.


John had been employed as a maintenance worker for Gateway Industries. He loved rock and roll music and was especially proud of his complete Beatle album collection.


Surviving are his brother, Michael McGuire and his wife Lois of Farmington, CT and his sister, Marilyn Dvozenja and her husband John of Poughkeepsie. Several nieces and nephews also survive.


Entrusted to the care of Paul Geary of the Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, Inc., 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston. Cremation was private. Inurnment will be in St. Denis Cemetery, Hopewell Junction at a later date. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Cardinal Hayes Home for Children, P.O. Box CH, Millbrook, NY 12545.
