John J. Lawlor

October 11, 1927 — November 12, 2015

John J. Lawlor, 88, of Kingston passed Thursday morning, November 12, 2015 at Health Alliance Hospital, Broadway Campus, Kingston. He was born October 11, 1927 in Poughkeepsie, the son of the late Daniel and Elizabeth Lawlor. He was the husband of Dorothy M Lawlor, she died on November 4, 2011. For many years he had worked at Williams Lake Hotel as a groundskeeper, he enjoyed cutting wood getting ready for the winter.


He is survived by his children, John Lawlor and his wife Donna of Stone Ridge, Vincent Lawlor and his wife Cathy of Kingston, Hattie Jansen and her husband James of West Hurley and Richard Lawlor of Kingston, his sibling William and Catherine, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers Vincent and Charles Lawlor



Entrusted to the care of the Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston. Friends may call on Saturday from 10 - 11 am. The service will be at 11:00 am. Burial in Fairview Cemetery. Please leave a condolence for the family at www.KeyserCarr.com .
