John J. Buley, 64, of Kingston, died June 5, 2013.
Born in Kingston, he was a son of the late John & Doris Brown Buley. John was a veteran of the US Army having served during the Vietnam war as a drill sergeant. He owned and operated John J. Buley Excavation for over 40 years.
He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and boating. John was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife of nine years, Vicki Salvucci-Buley of Kingston, two sons, John J. Buley, Jr. of Saugerties, Scott Buley, his wife Divina of Saugerties and grandson Dylan J. Buley, two cousins, William Kidd of Kingston and Carol Doherty and her husband Stewart of Kingston.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 8, 2013 from 10AM -12 PM at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave.
A funeral service will follow at 12:00 noon. Inurnment, with military honors by Joyce-Schirick Post 1386 Color Guard, will be in Montrepose Cemetery.
