Johanna F. Jung

Lake Katrine - Johanna F. Jung died Friday, March 6, 2015 at Ten Broeck Commons Nursing Home. She was 90. She was born in Mertschutz/Schlesien, Germany a daughter of the late Paul and Franziska Lustig Thomas. Mrs. Jung worked for many years as cafeteria manager for Ferroxcube in Mt. Marion. She enjoyed dancing and traveling. She was married to the late Paul Jung. Surviving are two daughters, Christa Conlin and her husband Terry of Hurley; Hannelore Scharp and her husband Richard of Cairo and a son, Peter Jung and his spouse Andres Valdaliso of Woodstock. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Gabriella Knox, Cheryl Sims and Jennifer Condia and nine great-grandchildren. A grandson, Mark Conlin and her sister Irene Czasch and her brother, Herbert Thomas died previously. Entrusted to the care of A. Carr & Son Funeral Home.
