Jill Beth Sleed

Jill Beth Sleed, age 56, a resident of Kingston, NY, formerly of Baldwin, NY passed away Friday, September 30, 2016 at the Kingston Hospital. Jill is survived by her Mother, Judith Sleed; Sister, Jodie Sleed; Brother Jeff Sleed; Niece and Nephews, Nate Parrenti, Mathew Parrenti, Jordan Sleed and McCartney Sleed. She is predeceased by her Father, Joel Sleed; her Grandparents, Roman Sleed; Ethel Sleed & Step Grandmother, Bella Galsky; Margit & Peter Weinberger of Budapest. Jill was born in NYC on October 3, 1959 to Judy and Joel Sleed.

Jill was a graduate of Baldwin High School in 1977. Jill was educated in the Baldwin School System in New York. Jill was an active member of the Kingston, NY community always extending kindness to those she came in touch with. She attended support services designed for the mentally challenged, making new friends, colleagues & became a roll model. She was loved by all. Jill went on to pursue her artistic creativity, writing music & lyrics, poetry, drawing, painting, sewing, & pottery. She will be deeply missed by her friends, family, and all who knew her. Her influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her. A simple service celebrating Jill Sleed's life will be held at KEYSER FUNERAL HOME, 326 Albany Ave, Kingston NY 12401, THURSDAY, OCTOBER 6, 2016 from 2 - 4:30 with a service beginning at 3pm with Rabbi Johnathan Kligler & Rev.
