Jennie C Chafouleas

Jennie C. Chafouleas of Emerson St. died Saturday, February 8, 2014 at HealthAlliance Hospital, Broadway Campus. She was 93. She was born in Kingston, a daughter of the late Peter and Bessie Nekos Cunaveles. Mrs. Chafouleas was an administrative assistant at IBM, retiring after 30 years of service. She was a founding member and parishioner of St. George Greek Orthodox Church. Her husband, Peter P. Chafouleas died previously. Surviving are her son, Christopher Chafouleas of Kingston, her sister Helen Cunaveles of Kingston and her brother, Gus Cunaveles of Las Vegas, NV. Also surviving are her granddaughter, Andrea Chafouleas, her grandson, Todd Coutant, her niece, Lynn C. Dale, her care giver, Laura Imperati and her three great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Alexander and Sophia. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Chafouleas was predeceased by her daughter, Eleni Coutant and her granddaughter, Gina Coutant. Entrusted to the care of Paul Geary of A. Carr & Son Funeral Home, 65 Lucas Ave., Kingston where friends will be received on Wednesday from 5 - 8 PM. A funeral procession will form on Thursday, 10:00 AM at the funeral home and process to St. George Greek Orthodox Church where services will be conducted at 11:00 AM.
