Jeffrey Orbacz, 60, of Kingston, died Saturday, October 30, 2021 at his home.
Born in Ballston Spa, NY, he was a son of the late Victor Orbacz and Genevieve Stempkowski Orbacz of Saugerties.
Jeff was a man who loved many things, but mostly long rides on his motorcycle, working side-by-side with his wife as contractors, helping friends and neighbors with various projects, and spending time with family, especially his three granddaughters. He was the jack of all trades and wore many hats. He wore the hat of a contractor, a father, and undoubtedly his favorite hat to wear, was his Pop-Pop hat. Jeff loved his field of work in professional electrical sales for both Ulster Electric for almost 3 decades, and for Kenny and his team at Rondout Electric.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Sharon Brown Orbacz of Kingston, three children. Jeffrey Fischer of Kingston, Amanda Jaskot and her husband Andrew of Kingston, Matthew Bonilla, and his husband, Alfredo of Kingston, six siblings, Linda Orbacz, Rick Orbacz, Patricia Nilson, Karen Schoonmaker, Barbara Orbacz-Boulais and Brian Orbacz. Three grandchildren, Ella Sha, Chloe and Hailey. Several nieces, nephews, and a very good friend, Robert Moscato, also survive.
In addition to his father, Jeff was predeceased by a brother, Michael Orbacz and sisters, Susan, and Christine Orbacz.
Jeff will be reposing as the Simpson-Hammerl Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, from 4-7PM.
A Funeral Service will take place at 7:00 PM at the funeral home with Deacon Hank Smith, officiating.
Interment will be privately held.
