January 30, 1947 — September 13, 2016

Jeffrey A. Donahue, 69, of Kingston, NY, passed peacefully Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at Health Alliance Hospital Broadway Campus, surrounded by his loving family. He was born January 30, 1947 in Forest Park, Illinois, the son of the late John and Goldie Donahue.

After High School, Jeff enlisted in the US Navy, he served on the aircraft carrier the USS Ticonderoga, serving during Viet Nam. After serving in the Navy, he enlisted in the US Army and served with Army National Guard until his retirement in June 2000. He attained the rank of E5 Sargent. He was also employed by Huck (Alcoa) Manufacturing for over 20 years.

He loved to golf, bowl and play softball and was a Chicago sports fan, following the Bears, Cubs and Bulls. Jeff was a hard worker, always putting the needs of his family first, often doing extra jobs so they were well provided for. A generous person, he was always giving to help others, and received special recognition from all of his employers.

Jeff is survived by his loving family, wife Judith Hughes Donahue, they were wed on September 1st, 1968. His, daughters Desiree D. Earl and her husband James, Tracy Coddington, grandchildren Desiree Ramos and her husband Matthew, Andrew, Jeffrey and Zachary Coddington, Desiree R., Thomas, Michael and Leah Earl and a great grandson Matthew Ramos, his sisters Rose Gargus and Carol Gargus. Many nieces and nephews.

Entrusted to the care of the Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston. Friends may call on Friday from 4 - 6 pm. The service will be Friday at 6:00 pm.

The family suggests contributions to St. Jude Children´s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905
