Jeanette J. Devereux

Jeanette J. Devereux formerly of Neighborhood Rd., Lake Katrine died Wednesday, December 21, 2005 at Providence Hospital in Portland, Or. She was 90. She was born September 24, 1915 in Patterson, NJ a daughter of the late Joseph and Natalie Alessi Giordano. Mrs. Devereux was a licensed practical nurse at Phelps Memorial Hospital in North Tarrytown, NY, retiring in 1973. She also worked as a private duty nurse. She attended Grace Community Church in Lake Katrine and was a member of the Ulster County Senior Citizens Club as well as the Salty Seniors Club. Her husband, William E. Devereux died in 1986. Surviving are her son, Fred A. Johnson of Carmel, her daughter, Carole S. Devereux of La Center, WA and a sister, Raimonda Maylahn of Lake Katrine. Two grandchildren also survive. Funeral services are private.
