JeanLuc Botbol, 71, of Clinton Corners, NY, died Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Albany Medical Center.
Born in Fez, Morocco, he was a son of the late Moshe & Etoile Wanesh Botbol. Jean-Luc was a warm, loving man, and a devoted husband and father. He had a successful retail and construction enterprise in Manhattan and was a builder in the Mid Hudson Valley for 25 years. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
Jean -Luc is survived by his wife Gisa Stanke Botbol of Clinton Corners, NY, a son, Sacha Botbol and his wife Tania Canteli of Beacon, NY, a daughter, Isabelle Hewson and her husband Alan of Saugerties, eight siblings, Annette Niddam and her husband Simon of Cannes, France, Edmond Botbol of Canne, France, Collette Kuperstein of Los Angeles, CA, Jo Botbol of Paris, France, Marcel Botbol of Canne, France, Charles Botbol and his wife Sylvie of Boca Raton, FL, Lillian Botbol of Israel and Susie Sadlier of Boston, MA. Six grandchildren, Sabina, Athena, Ela, Zenn, Ariel, Zuri and many nieces and nephews also survive.
A Funeral Service will be conducted on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave at 1:00 PM, with Rabbi Jonathan Kligler of the Woodstock Jewish Congregation, officiating.
Interment will be privately held.
