Jean F. Bodenweber of West O'Reilly St., Kingston died Friday, May 27, 2011 at her home. She was 89. She was born in Newburgh, a daughter of the late August W. and Elizabeth Newsome Bodenweber. For many years, Jean was employed as a bookkeeper for Adirondack Trailways in Kingston. After retiring, she enjoyed many diverse part-time positions in retail and other settings. Jean also volunteered weekly at Linwood Spiritual Center in Rhinebeck. Jean was a parishoner of St. Mary's Church and a member of the Altar-Rosary Society. Beloved sister of Mary B. Forgey of Kingston and Robert A. Bodenweber and his wife Barbara of the Town of Ulster and the late William K. Bodenweber and Rita M. Geary. Also surviving are fourteen nieces and nephews, seventeen grand nieces and nephews, thirteen great-grand nieces and nephews and one great-great grand nephew. Reposing at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave., Kingston on Tuesday from 3 - 7 PM. The funeral procession will form at the funeral home on Wednesday at 9:15 AM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Fr. John A. Collins, CSsR at St. Mary's Church at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
