Jayden Michael Holzhauer

Jayden "Jay" M. Holzhauer, 8, of Saugerties, passed suddenly Thursday afternoon, April 2, 2015 at Albany Medical Center, Albany, surrounded by his loving family.


Jay was a fun loving kid that was in the 3rd grade at Grant D. Morse Elementary in Blue Mountain, he had a love for music, sports, camping, playing the drums, his favorite show was Sponge Bob, he was great at building with Lego blocks and the online game Minecraft and had a passion for writing and drawing. Most recently he was involved with raising funds through St. Baldricks, to raise awareness of childhood cancer.


Jayden was born June 9, 2006 in Kingston, the son of Brian Holzhauer and Atalia Milano Holzhauer, in addition, he is survived by his brother Landon Holzhauer, a soon to be born sister Ava Rae, his Nanny and Poppy Angie Milano and Gary Greene, Grandma and Grandpa Ralph and Laura Holzhauer, many aunts, uncles and cousins


Entrusted to the care of the Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston. The family will receive their friends on Tuesday from 4 - 7 pm. The service will be at the Saugerties United Methodist Church, Washington Ave., 67 Washington Ave. Saugerties, on Wednesday at 6pm.
