Javier "Tito" Guerra of Downs St., Kingston died Tuesday, November 9, 2010. He was 31.
He was born in Quezaltepeque, Chiquimula, Guatemala, a son of Javier Guerra and the late Rosa Amalia Machorro.
Tito worked construction in the area for several years. An avid soccer fan and player, Tito was a wonderful person who loved his family and friends.
Surviving in addition to his father of Guatemala, are his companion Amelia Villa and her children Neftali, Damaris and Selena Reyes, five brothers Jose "Cruz", Isai and Edras of Tivoli, Alex of Kingston and Esaul of Pawling, three sisters Lillian, Ovilda and Rosalie all of Guatemala; many nieces and nephews.
Reposing at the Simpson - Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Sunday from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Peter's Church, Wurts St., Kingston on Monday at a time to be announced. Tito will be buried next to his mother in Quezaltepeque, Guatemala.
In celebration of Tito's life, in lieu of flowers, donations will be gladly accepted after 5:00pm at a reception at Casa Villa Restaurant, 395 Albany Ave in Kingston, NY.
