Janet T. Davis

Janet T. Davis, 87, of Leesburg, FL passed away on Monday, February 17, 2014. She was born April 21, 1926; she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Estella Tubby. She was the widow of the late Arthur S. Jones.

She was married to Edward Davis for fifty-two years; he predeceased her on April 18, 2011.

She was a graduate of Kingston High School. In 1947 she graduated from The Kingston Hospital School of Nursing. She was a member of Hurley Reformed Church, the women's guild and the Little Garden Club of Kingston. She was also a member of the Ladies Shrine Group of Tavares.

For many years Janet was a snowbird, spending the winter months in Florida. Her and her husband Ed made Florida their permanent residence ten years ago.

Janet is survived by her daughters Ruth Jones Quick and her husband John, and Nancy Jones Quarantino and companion Michael Attomarie, her son Ted E. Davis and wife Barbara, five grandchildren: David Quick, Michael Quarantino, Taylor Davis, Alex Davis and Michelle Davis. As well as two great grandchildren: Wilson and Caroline Quick.

Entrusted to the care of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service Inc., 326 Albany Ave, Kingston a graveside service will be held on Monday April 21 at 11:30 AM in Wiltwyck Cemetery.
